What’s it about?

Omni Accounts is a locally developed accounting package that is easily affordable by any small business. They have all the main features of the top international packages including issuing invoices, processing receipts and payments and one-click year end financial statements.

Pros

The cost of Omni Accounts is a fraction of their international counterparts, and you don’t pay for extra features you don’t use. All additional features can be purchased separately off their website, so there is no need to purchase the top of the line product for one feature you need.
Omni creates professional looking invoices which can be easily converted to .pdf format and emailed to customers.

Cons

Omni is not the most user friendly accounting package out there, it does take some getting used to, but once you have played around, you should be able to navigate the software relatively easily.
If you purchase a lot of add-on’s, the price can start to climb, however they are still generally far cheaper than their international counterparts.

Final Thought

Omni is not the best package out there, but it is the best value for money. We recommend it to any small businesses who do not wish to spend thousands of Rands on accounting software. Omni pricing starts at just R350 for their basic package and from there one can purchase the add-on’s one needs
